We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager based in Arendal to lead and innovate our welcome service activities, playing a crucial role in shaping the experiences of internationals & newcomers to our region as they transition into their new lives, making it both a rewarding and impactful position.

Arbeidsoppgaver
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Oversight: Oversee the delivery of welcome services, ensuring all activities are aligned with our processes.

Event Coordination and Oversight: Manage the planning and execution of Welcome Hub events, ensuring high attendance and significant community impact. Collaborate with partners to co-create events that effectively utilize and integrate existing community resources.

Educational Program Management: Oversee recruitment and administrative processes for Norwegian language courses and other informational seminars in collaboration with our partners.

Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, aligning our activities with their goals and ensuring collaborative success.

Strategic Marketing and Communication: Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and impact of Welcome Hub activities.

Community Hub Strategy: Lead the volunteer team, supporting initiatives and activities that promote social inclusion and community involvement.

Interface with Talent Hub: Ensure seamless support and alignment between Welcome Hub activities and Talent Hub for newcomers needing employment and skill development.

Grant Writing and Management: Identify and secure funding for local initiatives in collaboration with partners. Responsibilities include researching grants, preparing applications, managing relationships with funders, and reporting on project progress.
