We are looking for an operational and committed Busiess Controller to Vard Group AS. The position reports to Group Chief Controller.
The Business Controller will support with monitoring the overhead cost at the shipyards in Norway and HQ. In addition, there will be other controlling tasks.

Duties and responsibilities

• Economic and financial planning
• Monitoring of the periodic progress by analyzing the deviations of the services and their main cost drivers
• Support in the preparation of the operating estimate and identification of the main cost drivers, definition of improvement plans and evaluation of economic benefits
• Elaboration of monthly and quarterly reporting

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education; economics or finance
• Fluent English speaking
• Excellent knowledge of the main IT tools, in particular the Office package
• Complete the profile characteristics such as: problem solving, team working attitude, analysis and synthesis skills, economic sensitivity, result orientation, flexibility and adaptability
