Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace is the largest space company in Scandinavia and delivers a broad spectrum of equipment, systems and services related to space and maritime surveillance customers in more than 40 countries. Our portfolio includes equipment and components for the European heavy-lift launchers Ariane 5 & 6, equipment for communication, navigation, earth observation satellites as well as scientific space probes and space exploration.
We are expanding our analog electronic development team at our site in Horten and are looking for new and experienced electronic hardware engineers to develop our next generation of space hardware.
Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Development of electronics in systems using complex parts such as processors, FPGAs, high-speed data converters in close collaboration with RF and DSP team.
- Digital, analogue, high speed and mixed signal design, including design of controlled impedance multi-layer PCBs using high-speed technologies.
- Power electronics and DC/DC converters
- Measurements and characterization of developed hardware
- Following the products from concept phase up to delivered flight hardware
- Close collaboration with project and customer to find optimal solutions
- Analysis and documentation according to MIL, ECSS or other relevant standards
Who are you?
- You are an electrical engineer with a MSc or PhD that enjoy working with hardware development
- You have a positive personality and want to work together in teams to solve complex challenges
- You are structured and analytical and take pride in your work
