Kort om arbeidsgiver

ORLEN Upstream Norway AS is an oil and gas company with the head office located in Stavanger, Norway. The sole owner is ORLEN SA, which is the largest energy multi-utility in Central and Eastern Europe.

The most important strategic goal of ORLEN Upstream Norway is securing uninterrupted gas supply for the ORLEN Group. We believe that this goal can be achieved through stable and diversified hydrocarbon production from the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The company was established in 2007 and through the series of successful investments and acquisitions it grew to become recognized player on NCS. ORLEN Upstream Norway was ranked in top ten largest hydrocarbon producer on the NCS in 2023.

Over the last couple of years, we have achieved significant growth in our business. In 2021 ORLEN Upstream Norway acquired and merged with INEOS E&P Norge AS, resulting in ORLEN Upstream Norway's access to considerable gas volumes for the Baltic Pipe. In 2022 ORLEN Upstream Norway merged with LOTOS Exploration and Production Norge, another upstream company of the ORLEN Group operating on the NCS. This was followed by acquisition of KUFPEC Norway, which was closed in early 2024.

In 2024, the company’s name was changed from PGNiG Upstream Norway to ORLEN Upstream Norway to underline its affiliation with the ORLEN Group.

Currently the company employs over 100 experienced professionals from all around the globe.
