Power BI Consultant
Project description
The Get Your Data Straight (GYDS) portal is a Power BI-based solution for data indexing, monitoring, measuring, cleanup, and archiving. This portal will serve as the main tool for monitoring data quality, volume and compliance, tracking improvements over time.
Tasks and responsibilities

Develop, configure, and deploy data flows and automations in the Power Platform and Fabric.

Create and optimize data models, connections, and entities to support business applications and automation.

Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, SharePoint, Azure Data Services, and other third-party applications & ensure seamless data synchronization and transformation using connectors, gateways, and APIs.

Document processes, data models, and configurations for future reference and compliance purposes.

Train team members and stakeholders on Power Apps data flow capabilities and best practices.
Competence requirements
-
2+ years' experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and the Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric, with a focus on data flows.

Strong background in data management, including ETL, data modelling, and integration.

Experience with subsurface data.

Experience with data integration tools and technologies such as Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, APIs, and connectors.

Knowledge of DAX, Python and other data transformation languages.

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, Dynamics 365, or similar.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
