Pipeline Engineer
Petrolink is looking for a Pipeline Engineer to join the Subsea Facilities (SF) sector. The sector's main task is to provide projects with engineers, task- and project managers and to develop our personnel's competence across the technical disciplines and within project development, including leadership.
Contract location: At Client Offices, Stavanger or Oslo
Tasks
By joining the team, you will have the opportunity to participate in and be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of pipelines.
This includes the following:
• Follow-up of relevant contractors.
• Screening, concept development and early-phase studies for new projects.
• Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements.
• Tendering and evaluation activities.
• Preparation of technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.
• Sporadic offshore work.
Qualifications
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree, however preferably master’s. Degrees in mechanical, marine or civil engineering are the most relevant.
• Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience. Longer experience preferred.
• Background within Pipeline EPCI and/or Pipeline Commissioning.
• Good understanding of project development, and experience therein.
• Oral and written proficiency in English. Norwegian language proficiency is not a requirement.
