Part-time People & Communication Specialist

Part-time People & Communication Specialist with focus on HR administration to join our team in Asker, Norway

We offer a part-time position (18-19 hours per week) within People & Communications (P&C) in a company that strives to make a positive impact every day, and enable a healthy economy for more of the many. Your main focus will be P&C in the Norwegian branch in Asker, however as P&C Specialist you are part of our bank wide P&C function (present in eight markets). You will report to the P&C Market Manager for Denmark and Norway. On location in Asker is approximately 40 employees including our local P&C Specialist emphasizing on payroll and payment related matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Managing administration of employment contracts and addendums.
  • Actively support line managers and employees in Norway on systems related to people processes.
  • Maintain people data in Ikano Bank People HR system (Sage), SharePoint archive, and physical archive in accordance with GDPR and local requirements.
  • Super User in Ikano Bank People/Sage (including support and training) and Learning Management System.
  • Administer the Norwegian employee handbook, the Environment Health & Safety handbook and HR SharePoint page.
  • Actively participate in weekly HR operations network (internal bank wide network) to share best practices, give input and seek alignment on HR matters.
  • Produce people data reports on absence, health ratios, compliance training tracking, and other various data for different stakeholders in the bank.
  • Contribute to P&C projects.

Knowledge

The ideal P&C Specialist candidate has a couple of years’ experience working with HR administration, data and systems. You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar. You are fluent in both English and Norwegian, and your cross-cultural communication skills enable seamless collaboration across diverse teams.

You understand the regulatory framework around Norwegian employment laws and regulations, and what it entails to work in an organisation tied to a collective agreement. You have a genuine interest in P&C administration and beyond. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also essential to be successful in the role.

You have a supportive and problem-solving attitude, and the ability to communicate in a simple way with colleagues. During hectic times you are able to prioritize and organize your work effectively.
