Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Operations Manager is the operational leader responsible for the overall performance on the departments within the OM’s portfolio, ensuring alignment with Burger King and government standards, by fostering continuous learning and growth while leading by example. Through on-site visits and report analysis, the OM aims at surpassing KPIs through clear leadership and expectations. The OM is responsible for driving financial success, meeting commitments, maintaining cost-effectiveness and exceeding guest expectations, embodying Burger King’s values within the OM’s portfolio.

- Strategic Leadership
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive operational excellence across the restaurant portfolio.
- Performance Management
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of each department within the portfolio to ensure alignment with Burger King’s vision and goals.
- Financial Oversight
- Ensuring financial success by meeting commitments, maintaining cost-effectiveness, and driving sales growth.
- Brand Representation
- Upholding and embodying Burger King’s values and standards, representing the brand positively in all operations.

- Strong leadership skills to manage and optimize business processes relating to production, supply chain, logistics, customer service, and quality control.

- Experience in managing operational budgets, including forecasting, and allocating resources as required.
- Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with technical applications such as production automation, data entry, and using software to access project data, track budget information, and design processes.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing circumstances expediently.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively present updates on operational strategy and various initiatives to stakeholders, to facilitate collaboration, conflict resolution, and team building.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of Quick Service Restaurant management experience or relevant position.
- Working experience with operations excellence, alignment, and procedures.
- Strong finacial background with conection to the business results
- Previous experiences having responsibility for budget, results delivery and targets
- Ability to make decisions while delivering results

- Strong skills in excell – results preparation and presentation to broader audience
- Good communication/interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of customers.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Norwegian and English to effectively communicate in the Norwegian market and to stakeholders.
