NPI Lead Electronics

An exciting opportunity awaits you as NPI Lead Electronics in Kongsberg Discovery. In this role, you will play a part in our high-achieving Manufacturing Technology department, that delivers essential manufacturing solutions for our business. We are leading the way in achieving business goals through New Product Introduction (NPI). Now is the time to get on board with KONGSBERG.

In this role you will coordinate NPI activities for electronics (PCBAs and modules). You will participate in product development projects from start to finish, responsible for prototyping and production set-up for electronics. Design for manufacturing and test, and time to market, will be important measures. In operational phase you will focus on improvement and maintenance to ensure high quality and cost-efficient production. Kongsberg use several electronics manufacturers, and external resources for production test development.

You will work in cross-functional teams with R&D electronics engineers, test system developers, procurement, quality engineers and electronics manufacturers. You will coordinate Kongsberg Discovery and external resources in both product development projects and in operational phase.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate NPI activities for electronics in product development projects. Prototyping, production test system development, pilotseries and scale-up. Ensure good processes
• Coordinate continuous improvement and troubleshooting of production test systems. Including follow up and update test limits
• Follow up production test system maintenance and calibration
• Follow up changes in electronics design. New functions, bug fixes and replacement of end of life components

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or Master degree in electronics, software, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or similar. Relevant experience can replace a formal education
• Experience with electronics manufacturing
• Experience with production test development
• Knowledge in LabView and/or TestStand are an advantage
• Interest for project management
