Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for mechanical systems and operational excellence? Cargill, a global leader in food, agriculture, and sustainability, is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Maintenance Mechanic & Operator to join our team in a one-year temporary position.

Your Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
- Maintain & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment like pumps, motors, conveyors, and other machinery.
- Operate with Precision: Use standard maintenance tools (power tools, precision tools, preventative maintenance technology) to ensure equipment reliability.
- Support Operations: Step into a process operator role during high-demand periods or staffing gaps to keep production running seamlessly.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety policies and keep detailed maintenance records and logs.
- Adapt & Contribute: Operate mobile-powered equipment and take on other tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For: Skills & Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma with trade certification (fagprøve) or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Proven mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian or English.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations.
