HIRING HEAD CHEF
We are looking for a motivated and committed Executive chef who together with a team of a Sous Chef and a cook will manage our kitchen for the season of 2025. You will be responsible for the employees in the kitchen team and make sure to motivate and inspire other employees. Together we will create a wonderful dining experiences for our guests. Our hotel is located in the mountains several hours from the nearest town, so you must like the mountain life.
You would need to be a EU recident, or have a work permit to work in Norway.

Desired education / experience:

A degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred

Experience as Executive Chef/Sous Chef is an advantage

Turtagrø hotel as ligger 884 m.o.h i Vest Jotunheimen, like ved Rv 55 mellom Lom og Sogndal. Turtagrø ble etablert som et privat hotel i år 1888. Turtagrø og fjellområdet Hurrungane er kjent som fjellsportens vugge i Norge siden de første pionerne startet klatring i fjellene på 1870-tallet. Turtagrø Hotel er et sesonghotell (åpent påske-medio september), med totalt 114 sengeplasser, og en restaurant med plass til 90 personer. Våre gjester er hovedsakelig fra Norge og kommer til oss for å gå toppturer på ski, klatring, gå fjellturer. I høysesong er vi rundt 20 ansatte. I lavsesong er vi mellom 10-13 ansatte. Gjennomsnittsalderen er ca. 28 år. Vi er et internasjonalt team med ansatte fra hele Europa og mange fra Norge. Vi bor og jobber sammen og vi et godt arbeidsmiljø er noe vi setter høyt. Fleksibilitet og omsorg for hverandre er viktig. Vi har personalbolig med enkeltrom for alle ansatte og disse ligger 30 meter fra hotellet. |
