Head Chef to Olivia Torget in Stavanger
Olivia opened the doors for the first time at Aker Brygge in Oslo in 2006 with an ambition to offer the best flavors from Italy. The menu that is the core of all Olivia restaurants is stone oven baked, thin, crispy pizza, classic pasta dishes and antipasti.
We provide the best Italian produced commodities and wine from smaller, family-run producers in Italy. All Olivia restaurants are unique and inspired by our Italian favorite cities, and in our restaurants – you will feel at home, and still be able to dream away to Italy.

As the leader of a large team, you are dependent on being able to motivate, see and develop your own employees.
As a Head Chef at Olivia Torget, you have total operational responsibility for the entire kitchen and report to the Operations Manager.
We envision that the right candidate has a leading position in a kitchen today but wants new challenges in an organization with strong growth. We have a general basic idea that everyone who works hardand shows commitment – should have the opportunity to develop with Olivia.
The Head Chef’s responsibility includes:
- Ensuring that all food served is in accordance with Olivia's standard (calcmenu) in terms of taste, quality, appearance, temperature, and quantity.
- Ensuring that all food served has been prepared and served in line with IK-mat (documentation and quality assurance tool for food).
- Daily operation of the kitchen and pizza kitchen.
- Provide training to the leader team regarding budget control, food cost, seasonal menu changes and allergens requirements.
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance within the department.
- Administrative responsibility, including recruitment, training, and follow-up
We look for candidates with the following qualifications:
- You have at least 2 years’ experience from a professional kitchen with high pace
- Are a motivated, ambitious, structured, and detail-oriented leader
- Are highly organized and structured.
- You get motivated by seeing others evolve and you enjoy team building.
- Are loyal to policies, processes, and guidelines.
