The world needs to increase the amount of renewable energy to battle climate change. Glint Solar is an Oslo-based startup accelerating the growth of solar energy by making it fast and simple to find the best solar project locations.
Solar energy is growing at a tremendous rate, but reducing early risks and making data driven decisions from the start is increasingly crucial for solar developers. Our innovative software allows solar developers to identify suitable areas of land and analyze the potential power production from the area in a much quicker way than what’s currently available. Our goal is to drastically speed up renewable energy adoption by making it fast and simple to develop solar projects, in order to accelerate what we call the Solar Revolution.
We are a fun-loving team of people from different backgrounds, with different likes and personalities. What we’re looking for
We have taken some big steps recently and are ready to start moving much quicker. As our Financial Controller you will work closely with our CFO and management team in ensuring that the company can move swiftly.
You will be responsible for:

Overseeing accounting and finance operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Contributing in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including quarterly investor reporting

Contributing in developing and implementing internal control procedures, routines and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and meet industry standards

Participating in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

Providing reports and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making

Monitoring and managing cash flow

Liaising with external accountants and auditors

Ad hoc analyses and projects

Ideal qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or similar

3-7 years of relevant experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced knowledge of Excel

Self-sufficient and self-driven, with drive to succeed and demonstrate initiative

Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment

High level of integrity

Fluency in English and Norwegian
