Expediter
Vard Group is searching for an Expediter who is eager to work within an international and motivating environment. The Expediters are employed in Procurement Department and report to Vice President Supply Chain & Procurement Coordination.

Duties and responsibilities
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
- Monitor and maintains project and delivery schedule.
- Confirm shipping dates with vendor.
- Track orders from placement through delivery.
- Monitor shipping notices to avoid potential problems with deliveries.
- Monitor goods receipt from ERP system.
- Contact vendors, manage supply requisition, and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform Project team of potential delays.
- Prepare progress reports.
Qualifications
- Education within logistics/procurement.
- Relevant experience can replace the education requirement
- Preferably experience in managing suppliers.
- Preferably experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of procurement functions and processes
- Excellent written and oral communication, both in English and Norwegian.
