We are currently seeking three individuals to join our team in the exciting role as Director Naval Business. This opportunity spans three areas: Finance and Contracts, Operations, and Business and IT Architecture.

As part of the newly established Strategic Naval Project, you will play a key role in transforming KM into a leading provider of commercial products for Naval vessels and maritime customers. You will be building a foundation that will give KM the necessary license to operate in the Naval business.

Responsibilities

For the “Director Finance and Contracts” position:

• Build the necessary competence within Finance and Contracts for KM to be Naval ready
• Establish a compliant and efficient Finance and Contracts organization

For the “Director Operations “position:

• Build the necessary competence within Supply Chain, Production, Repairs, and ILS for KM to operate compliant and efficient in the Naval market
• Establish a compliant and efficient KM Naval Operations organization

For the “Director Business and IT Architecture” position:

• Build the necessary competence within IT, Security, Compliance and Export Control for KM to operate correct and efficient in the Naval market. This role shall work closely with key personnel within KM (Security, Compliance, Export Control) and KONGSBERG IT (IT) to find the right solutions for the KM Naval Business
• Design and establish a compliant and efficient IT environment for KM to operate in the KM Naval Market

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree within relevant fields (as stated under responsibilities)
• Experience, knowledge or interest within the field of Naval or defense
• Understanding of KONGSBERG’s Defense and/or Maritime business is preferred
• Good understanding of the defense business
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
