Kongsberg Discovery is looking for a committed and solution-oriented Logistics Engineer to join our team. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with innovation, optimization and development of logistics processes in a high-tech environment. We develop and deliver advanced solutions to global markets, and as a Logistics Engineer you will be central to ensuring that our products reach our customers at the right time and in a cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize logistics processes for efficient flow of materials and goods across our international value chain
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing and delivery teams to ensure the best possible use of resources
- Identify and implement improvement projects that reduce costs and improve the quality of logistics operations
- Use analysis models to support decision-making and operations
- Be our key user for automated storage solutions and advanced IT tools
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience from logistics, preferably within production or technology companies
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to see the whole in complex processes
- Knowledge of WMS systems and the use of data to drive process improvements
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
