🐟 Join Our Team at Gjøa Sjømat – Now Hiring a seasonal Chef! 🍽️
We are seeking an experienced chef to join our team at Gjøa Sjømat, a cozy restaurant in the heart of Rosendal dedicated to quality seafood. This is a full-time position (100%), starting as soon as possible and until September. The role requires flexibility in working evenings and weekends.

- A passion for seafood and high-quality cooking
- Ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests
- Experience working in a professional kitchen with a focus on hygiene and ingredient management
- Strong teamwork skills and collaboration with colleagues in the kitchen and service
- Proficiency in English
🎯 Responsibilities
- Prepare and present seafood and meat dishes according to our established routines and profitability goals
- Conduct daily mise en place and ensure timely preparation for lunch and dinner service
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards in line with our guidelines
- Ensure smooth operations in the kitchen during busy periods
- Collaborate effectively with service, bar, and other departments to provide great guest experiences
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings that highlight local ingredients
- Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment
