Bartender/Waiter Wanted for Uni Sushi & Izakaya in Norheimsund!

Uni Sushi & Izakaya is looking for an enthusiastic bartender/waiter to join our team and bring the spirit of a Japanese izakaya to life! As part of our high-quality yet relaxed service, we greet guests with oshibori (warm hand towels) and complimentary tea to set the mood for an exceptional meal. We also craft seasonal cocktails using local ingredients, offering a unique blend of Japanese and regional flavors. If you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and enjoy mixing creative cocktails, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with oshibori and tea service, delivering a warm, authentic start to each meal

  • Craft seasonal cocktails, using local ingredients to complement our Japanese-inspired menu

  • Provide attentive table and bar service, with a friendly and engaging approach

  • Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area, upholding our high standards in a relaxed setting

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a bartender and/or waiter in a high-quality service environment

  • Is enthusiastic about Japanese hospitality and cocktail crafting

  • Can blend high service standards with a fun, relaxed atmosphere

  • Enjoys working with local ingredients and seasonal flavors
