Asset Manager

This role focuses on cable laying, trenching, ROV, and VLS/MHS operations, as well as our workshop and logistics functions. The Assets Manager will report directly to the Offshore Services Director and will play a key role in shaping the company’s strategy for mission equipment while overseeing its development. This role is essential for enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring our teams are well-equipped to tackle future challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cable Lay Equipment​​​​​​ – Establish a dedicated technical organization focused on optimizing equipment within the renewable segment, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Trenching Department – Prepare the trenching department for future growth by implementing strategies that align with our long-term objectives.
  • ROV & VLS/MHS Department- Continue to expand the ROV & VLS/MHS department, fostering innovation and enhancing our service offerings.
  • Workshop Department- Oversee workshop operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair processes that support our offshore activities. This includes managing PRS technicians, fostering a collaborative environment, and optimizing the utilization of our technicians.
  • Logistics Oversight – Provide guidance and support to the logistics department to ensure timely and efficient transportation of equipment and resources, facilitating seamless project execution.
  • Way of Working – Implement a unified DeepOcean methodology for maintenance and documentation to enhance technical support for our offshore organization, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all operations.
  • Strategic Development of Mission Equipment – Collaborate with departments to influence and develop the company’s strategy for mission equipment. Take overall responsibility for following up on the building of new mission equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in technical asset management or a related field, with a strong background in both the renewable energy sector and oil and gas.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cable lay equipment, trenching, ROV operations, and workshop management.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on strategic growth and development.
  • Ability to implement methodologies and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Experience in building and developing high-performing organizations by leading through leaders, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
