Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Optilift Sensor Assembly, Calibration, and Testing Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, calibration, and testing of Optilift Sensors and connected equipment, playing a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the systems provided to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Sensor Assembly:
- Assemble Optilift Sensors and connected equipment according to detailed specifications, checklists, and engineering drawings.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to understand and implement design requirements.
- Ensure the quality and precision of assembled components, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Calibration:
- Perform calibration procedures on Optilift Sensors and equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to calibrate sensors according to established standards.
- Document calibration processes and maintain accurate records of calibration results.
- Testing:
- Conduct thorough functional and performance testing of assembled Optilift Sensors and connected equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during testing, collaborating with the quality assurance team and engineers.
- Implement and document testing procedures to ensure consistency and repeatability.
- Quality Control:
- Adhere to quality control standards to ensure the highest level of product quality.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality control processes.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production, to optimize assembly and testing processes.
- Provide feedback to the engineering team regarding any potential improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- A technical degree or certification in electronics, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electro-/fine mechanical work.
- Experience with assembly, calibration, and testing within a technology or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly and calibration processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
