About the Company
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor. The company is an innovative and international leader, providing cutting-edge solutions for demanding industries. With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and sustainability, they operate in global markets, delivering reliable systems and services for offshore, renewable energy, oil&gas and several sectors.
This position is based at their logistics hub in Voll, near Stavanger, where you will play a pivotal role in the development and leadership of the logistics department.
Your Role as Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor
In this role, you will take ownership of the daily operations and long-term development of the logistics department. You will be instrumental in ensuring efficient processes while upholding high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing transport, goods reception, storage, customs clearance, and shipment of materials.
- Monitoring inventory systems and ensuring accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Planning and coordinating internal and external shipments.
- Maintaining close communication with freight and logistics providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards across all activities.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a structured, solution-oriented leader with strong collaborative and organizational skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can combine strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving.
We believe you have:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) – this is a strict requirement.
- A valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
- Proficiency in IT systems, with experience in logistics or inventory management software.
- Technical understanding and financial awareness (preferred).
