We are seeking a skilled automation technician for our client, a leading exporter of seafood based on the beautiful west coast of Norway. Key Responsibilities
- Manage, repair, and optimize automatic control systems
- Develop programming for various machines and equipment
- Create user interfaces that facilitate communication between machines and operators
- Ensure machinery operates efficiently across all factory departments
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming errors to minimize downtime
- Enhance safety by reducing human risk in equipment operation
Qualifications
- Qualification as an Automation Technician or Electronics Automation Technician
- Relevant industrial experience; practical knowledge is essential
- Proficiency in PLC systems
- Familiarity with frequency converters and their programming
- Strong problem-solving skills and always seeking the best solutions
- Good communication skills in English or a Scandinavian language
- Skilled, structured, and precise
- A team player with excellent collaborative skills
