Bangkok café restaurant is looking for a person who knows cooking from the Thai cuisine (Bangkok and Isan), and who is looking for a full-time job as a cook and kitchen assistant with us.

Someone who has several years experience within Thai cuisine from European country, with Thai language skills

Arbeidsoppgaver

Tasks:

• preparation of Thai dinner dishes

• preparation of take-away food

• processing of raw materials

• production of spring rolls and the like

• clearing/cleaning/washing up.

• must be able to help with customer service, including ordering, serving, settlement

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (can vary), mainly in the afternoon/evening and weekends according to a rotation arrangement. We have opening hours between 12:00 and 9:00 p.m

Qualifications:

• applicant should be fit to work in a labourous work setting

• speak usable Norwegian/English/Thai

• master Thai cuisine, both dishes from Bangkok and Isan

The employee can eventually expect to be given responsibility for the kitchen, either for single evenings or for periods (when the head chef has time off/is on holiday). This may also involve cash settlements, purchases, etc.

Just limited training in recipes will be provided. The candidate must therefore have both the ability and willingness to learn and follow Bangkok café's good standard of food production and serving.

Hourly wages by agreement.
