ROV Supervisor

Duties and responsibilites

  • Manage the ROV team and be a part of the Offshore Manager`s core leadership team together with the Shift Supervisor and Deck Supervisor. 
  • Put safety first and make sure ROV operations are carried out in accordance with current regulations, client requirements and internal procedures
  • ROV pilot during operations; assist in launch and recovery of ROV systems
  • Perform repairs and planned routine maintenance on ROV`s and sensors
  • Keep an overview over planned operations and make sure ROV systems are in proper condition, maintained and calibrated for operation
  • Keep high focus to alert offshore management on possible required management of changes.
  • Ensure that a high safety standard and effective execution is maintained by understanding and adhering to the Company MOC procedure.
  • Ensure that the team understands the importance of keeping the ROV Supervisor appropriately advised and informed of all activities during the operation.
  • Take initiative and be upfront on the development of matters covering aspects of technical and operational improvements and innovation on operational facets concerning HSEQS activities in relation to the business of the Company.
  • Motivate and follow up the team members.
  • Maintain high ethical standards within the team and in regards to communication.

 

Qualification

• Minimum 5 years ROV experience – Technician / pilot role

• Good computer skills

• Specific experience will typically be requested for operations involving (not limited to): Survey, Construction, IMR Operations, Decommissioning, Subsea inspection
