Whether you're an experienced professional or a recent graduate, we encourage you to apply, as we highly value a diverse range of perspectives and skills. At Kongsberg Maritime, we offer training, courses, and mentoring to support your professional growth every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware engineering for Kongsberg Maritime products.
- Ensure Hardware delivery in Projects.
- Make technical solutions for customers worldwide.
- Be a part of international and highly skilled team.
- Travel worldwide for installation and commissioning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Technical education, certificate of apprenticeship (fagbrev) as electrician or automatician, “Y-veien” or bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
- Practical experience and knowledge of marine equipment and control systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AutoCad, ProArc, ERP, and CRM systems is beneficial. Training will be provided.
- Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and Norwegian.
At KONGSBERG, we believe that diversity fuels innovation. We encourage you to apply, even if you do not meet every requirement. Research shows that women and minority groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. Your unique perspective is valuable to us. Your skills, attitude and perspective could be exactly what we are looking for!
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
You are able to
- Act on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results.
- Use a methodical and systematic approach, plan ahead, define clear priorities and allocate resources effectively.
- Analyze complex issues and problems and come up with rational judgements.
- co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information and support others in the pursuit of team goals.
If you're ready to take on challenging projects and work with a supportive team, we want to hear from you!
