Project Control
Petrolink is looking for a Project Control the Project Control & Analysis competence centre within Project Development. By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to: Contribute in some of the most exciting projects in out clients energy transition. You will be delivering project control services across a global project portfolio. The current project portfolio is a mix of greenfield developments, high value offshore modification and subsea developments, electrification and power from shore projects, and emerging opportunities within hydrogen and carbon capture and storage projects. Project control is a key project integrator in all projects. Competence adds value at all levels in a project – from total business case to contract establishment and follow-up at various engineering and construction sites. In a project control role, in one of our capital projects, you will be responsible for providing project control deliveries and analysis to project management and relevant stakeholders. You enable interface alignment between different disciplines, and secure control of project status through all project phases. We do this by turning complex project data into business insight and communicate in formats that assist effective management decision making.
This position has the possibility for an extension of 1 x 12 months

Tasks
Project Control Responsibilities:
– Take charge of Project Control issues at the contract level within the project.
– Proactively establish and maintain project control systems and procedures to ensure consistent cost, planning, and risk control aligned with governing documents.
– Collaborate with various teams to ensure the project adheres to established project control standards.
Cost Control Management:
– Manage the cost control aspects of the contract in collaboration with the Cost Control Lead and Planner Lead.
– Support the Project Control Manager in the preparation of the Project Control Basis and baseline updates.
– Assist in weight and cost estimating related to the contract.
– Conduct cost and progress control, including forecasting and analysis for the contract.
Contract Administration:
– Oversee the contract during its duration, attending monthly meetings and providing necessary updates.
– Handle project accounting and invoice processing.
– Ensure the preparation of Contract Appendixes B, C, and D for Invitation to Tenders (ITT’s).
– Participate in the evaluation of contracts and contribute to yearly budget updates.
Reporting and Analysis:
– Ensure timely and accurate input for monthly report preparation.
– Contribute to risk management associated with Project Control.
– Support the Project Control Manager in maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Planning:
– Establish project schedules according to the business case strategies, both for early phase and execution
– Ensure that the progress is achieved in accordance with project targets
– Active follow-up of project plans, milestones and critical paths, including follow up of contractors’ plans
– Ensure consistency between contractors’ plans and overall project plans incl proactive follow-up of progress development
Qualifications
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
– Commercial mind-set; proactive, analytical and solution oriented
– Organized, structured and hands-on and having passion for details
– Good knowledge of SAP or Safran Project is an advantage
– The Project Control role involves proactive management of project control systems and procedures, cost control, contract administration, reporting, and analysis.
– Collaboration and continuous improvement are integral aspects of the role, contributing to effective cross-functional teamwork and organizational learning.
– Master's degree and 8+ years relevant experience OR
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years relevant experience OR
2+ years higher education and 16+ years relevant experience OR
No higher education and 20+ years relevant experience
