Preschool Assistant – Supply
About the job
You will be working as part of a highly motivated and collaborative team offering a balanced curriculum that promotes the acquisition of key skills and behaviours through play and inquiry based learning.
The role of the Preschool Supply Assistant is to:
- ensure the provision of a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for the children in BISS Preschool
- raise the standard of children's achievement within BISS Preschool’s curriculum
- participate in the realisation of BISS Preschool's objectives
- undertake any additional professional duties, as required
This is a temporary supply position – hours as required due to staff absence or illness.
Qualifications and skills
The preferred candidate will:
- have full teacher assistant qualifications (for International Schools),
- have strong collaboration skills,
- have excellent English skills, both written and oral (Minimum B2),
- demonstrate skills in building a caring, nurturing and creative environment,
- demonstrate skills in building positive relationships with parents.
Personal qualities
Preferred candidate is:
- an excellent and experienced classroom practitioner,
- passionate about inspiring the love of learning in children,
- responsible, enthusiastic, proactive, open minded, reflective and flexible, with the ability to think creatively.
