Optime Subsea is looking for a Production Test Engineer

 Our expanding Production line is looking for a Production Test Engineer to join our team.  

About You

We are searching for a practical oriented resource that has experience with either automation, electro or electronics. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to perform testing, troubleshooting, and establishing test equipment for our products.

Your mission in overview, but not limited to

• Execute testing on our assembly units.
• Participate in troubleshooting of our assembly units.
• Establish and prepare the need for test equipment according to test procedures.
• Work closely with Project Engineering on Quality requirements that must be implemented and carried out.
• Contribute and give feedback to improve our products, procedure and processes to ensure lean and quality-based production.
• Your tasks will include RS 485 Protocol testing, RS 232 Protocol testing, Modbus & Can Bus, testing, Micro Controller testing, Siemens PLS testing, Wireless testing, PT testing, IR & CR Testing, Hyperbaric Testing, Pressure Testing.

Key Requirements

• Experience with test engineering role is a prerequisite and knowledge from test, troubleshooting, tools and equipment associated to testing with Oil & Gas products is an advantage.
• Preferred Knowledge of IPC 610, 620, ESD & J-STD 001 is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing.
• Experience and knowledge of Hydraulic Schematic.
• Experience and knowledge of PCB electronic electrical schematics.
• Experience and knowledge of Electro Schematics and single diagrams.
• High technical understanding and ability to learn.
