Mors Mat is a restaurant with a focus on Norwegian traditional food and home cooking. We are a team that values quality, creativity and collaboration. We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced head chef to join our team.

Qualifications:

Education as a chef.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef, preferably with experience as a chef.

Experience with leadership and teamwork.

Knowledge of health and safety requirements in the kitchen environment.

Creative, structured and with an eye for detail.

Proficient in Norwegian and/or English, both orally and in writing.

Has good knowledge of IK food
Personal qualities:

Management capacity and ability to motivate employees.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.

Good mood, commitment and willingness to develop both one's own skills and the team.
Arbeidsoppgaver
Tasks:
-
Responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen.
-
Management and motivation of the kitchen staff.
-
Planning and implementation of menus in line with the season and concepts.
-
Ensure that the quality of the food is of a high standard at all times.

Managing the purchase and inventory of food products.
-
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
-
Budget responsibility for food costs and operations.
-
Actively working to reduce food waste
