Work tasks

Job Duties for Mechanical Foreman at Hammerfest Industriservice:

Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance and repair activities on site and maritime vessels.

Lead, train, and mentor a team of mechanical technicians, ensuring efficient work practices and adherence to safety protocols.

Plan and allocate resources, track project progress, and ensure timelines and budget goals are met.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and equipment aboard vessels and offshore facilities.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines at all times.

Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and personnel involved in each project.

Monitor and ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and in working condition.

You have proven experience as a mechanical foreman or supervisor, specifically in maritime or offshore mechanical services.
