As Offshore Team Lead – Operational IT, you will manage and develop a team of Survey Technicians that work in our offshore worksites. Ensuring that resources meet project requirements, are scheduled effectively, and maintain high levels of competency. You will also be responsible for recruitment, training, coaching, and fostering a strong offshore/onshore relationship.
The position is part of the onshore team structure of Operational IT and can be seated in one of our regional offices in Norway
Some of the exciting tasks you will have include:
- Lead a team of Survey Technicians, ensuring quality and competence.
- Optimize resource scheduling and ensure it aligns with project needs.
- Monitor and implement improvement initiatives based on feedback from your team.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate seminars to enhance offshore/onshore collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Security standards.
- Support the development and implementation of departmental quality plans and procedures.
We believe that you fulfil some of the following:
- A leader with strong communication skills who can clarify goals and expectations across teams.
- Higher Education Degree/Bachelor is preferred but long relevant work experience is evaluated
- Experience in managing technical teams, in a managerial role is preferred
- A strong technical background with experience in related fields.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage resources efficiently.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and achieving high performance.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian
