We are hiring warm and dependable Kindergarten Assistants to support early childhood educators across kindergartens in Oslo. As an assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children feel safe, supported, and engaged during their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist educators with the daily routines of the group

• Supervise children during play, rest, meals, and outings

• Help with hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits in accordance with age and individual needs

• Participate in planned educational activities and spontaneous play

• Support children emotionally, encouraging social skills and inclusion

• Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience with children (professional, volunteer, or personal)

• Warm, calm, and dependable personality

• Good collaboration skills and a proactive attitude

• Basic understanding of child development is a plus

• Norwegian language proficiency preferred; English accepted in some placements

• Police background check required before starting
