What you will be working on

As a Product Advisor you will contribute to the management of our portfolio of products and their life cycle. Your tasks will vary from supporting initiatives initiated by the product managers, producing documentation, writing technical papers and following up technical sales. You will be acting as a product subject matter expert, and bridging between sales, engineering, customers, and production teams. Our products require continuously updated certifications and associated documentation, which will be a key focus of your role in ensuring compliance and maintaining our license to operate.

You will join the Navigation & Positioning group, which is responsible for all Dynamic Positioning (DP) reference systems, as well as other products such as Navigational Situational Awareness. To succeed in this position, we believe you need to take initiative, be cooperative, responsible, structured, and quality minded. The position requires some travel, e.g., to conferences, customer visits, and exhibitions. You might occasionally join our operators and customers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Certification and license to operate
• Advise on, control, and facilitate product documentation
• Assist product management and life cycle support
• DP reference systems subject matter expert
• Test, verification, and validation of product improvements and developments

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree or other relevant experience
• Experience from DP / DP reference products is beneficial
• Experience from complex interconnected system
• Fluent in both spoken and written English. Fluency in spoken and written Norwegian is beneficial
