For client we are looking for TEKLA Structural Designer
For client we are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Designer(Lead designer) to join our team
As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed structural steel models using TEKLA Structures
software. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and high-quality
designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel design and be proficient in using TEKLA software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural steel models using TEKLA Structures software, including beams
- columns, connections, and other components
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of design models, ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and regulations
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, fabricators, and contractors
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts through collaboration and problem-solving
- Generate accurate and comprehensive fabrication drawings, erection plans, and other construction documents
- Provide support during the construction phase, addressing design-related queries and providing solutions as needed
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new features in TEKLA software, and incorporate them into the design process.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a TEKLA Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficient in using TEKLA Structures software for structural steel detailing and design
- Solid understanding of structural steel design principles, codes, and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with other BIM software and related tools is a plus.
