Data Processor
The Data Processor is a member of the Offshore Survey Team and will participate in processing all survey sensors data. The Data processor is also responsible for survey data quality assurance and presenting/delivering the data in the client required format.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- QA incoming survey data and give immediate feedback to Online surveyor when data doesn’t meet the client specifications.
- Fully Understand processing procedures for pipelines and seabed mapping projects.
- Be familiar with DeepOcean software packages for data processing and presentation.
- Process/Prepare survey data charts & deliverables in accordance with the given guidelines and specifications.
- Maintain survey, processing & Data deliveries logs.
- Participate in software testing, bug reporting and software development requests.
- Participate in improving processing efficiency and data quality by proposing and implementing new methods and equipment.
- Make sure all survey data deliverables are packed, labelled, stored and delivered in a professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a Survey/Science/Engineering oriented subjects.
- Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience with one or several of the following is preferred:
- Microsoft Office (Word, excel & Access)
- AutoCAD
- GIS applications
