We are looking for a 100% employee, that is a dynamic, warm and professional.
You will play a crucial role in creating the Sommerro experience and our guest promise: “We give ENERGY to the city.”

The successful candidate will work efficiently as part of the breakfast team in a strong and effective kitchen department of 60 employees overseeing the various outlets.
- Ekspedisjonshallen: An all-day dining venue offering a menu of classic brasserie favourites. Serving Oslo best breakfast to our Hotel guests and external guests. up to 500 breakfast guests a day with buffet and A La carte. Special events, VIP groups and private cooking in Villa Inkognito our 11 room private villa.
What you’ll do, except cooking wonderful food…
- Maintaining the integrity of our brand’s standards in line with the Head Chef and sous chef in your department
- Support the Head Chef/ Sous chef with ideas and techniques while striving to innovate and evolve the menu development
- Have a firm grip on maintaining Sommerro’s food quality and food waste standards
- Make sure that the guest experience is at the heart of what you do

The qualifications we’re looking for…
- Relevant culinary qualifications and similar experience, as part of a fast-moving culinary team in a busy and dynamic environment
- Have a good understanding of the business with a proven track record of working in large teams
- Fluency in English or a Scandinavian language
- Understanding of HACCP
- Fagbrev
- Visa or relevant passport to work in Norway (applications without this will not be reviewed)
