Do you have experience in software development and are eager to gain more experience in a company with cutting edge technology and a global impact?

 

We are now recruiting for a position within our development department. As a software developer in NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented and motivated people with passionate interest in software design.

 

Duties and responsibilities

·         Develop and maintain Mobile applications using Flutter and Dart

·         Targeted for iOS iPhone/iPad and Android Mobile/Table devices

·         Ensure the applications are scalable, have optimized performance and are user friendly

·         Research into new technologies that might benefit NAVTORs customers

·         Participate in continuous process improvements to build a high performing culture

 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience with software development

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Flutter and Dart

  • Good understanding of multiplatform mobile app development including publishing in Google Play and/or Apple App Store

  • Good understanding of user-friendly and responsive design 

  • Experience with of RESTful APIs and JSON

  • Knowledge of WebSocket and SignalR

  • Knowledge of responsive web design using HTML5, CSS and SASS is a big plus

  • Knowledge of one or several map frameworks as MapBox, Google Maps, Bing Maps, Leaflet, ArcGIS or OpenLayers is a plus

  • Knowledge of one or several data visualization frameworks

  • Knowledge of other reactive web frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus

  • Knowledge of Back-End development is a plus

  • Well traversed in Scrum workflows and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

  • Speak and write English fluently

Education 

·         Relevant education at university level or equivalent

  • Dedicated adherence to project goals and deadlines

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
