Current occupation with Saudi port authority as MARINE INSPECTOR (PORT STATE CONTROL OFFICER)

* Port State Control (PSC) is the inspection & Surveying of foreign ships in national ports to verify that the condition of the ship and its navigational equipment’s comply with Riyadh MOU requirements and international regulations such as (SOLAS, ILO, MARPOL, STCW, LOAD LINE, MLC....etc.) and that the ship is managed and operated in compliance with these rules.

SOME FUNCTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:-

 Conducting Port State Control tasks for vessels that calling AL JUBAIL port (KING FAHD INDUSTRIAL PORT) On-Behalf of Saudi Port Authority.

  Technical inspection for vessels calling Al Jubail port to ensure compliance with port regulations, Riyadh MOU requirements and applicable international standards & local maritime laws on Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 Compatibility survey for vessels before calling Al- JUBAIL port (KING FAHD INDUSTRIAL PORT).

  Participate in maintain the quality management system of the port.

   Participate in upgrading port standards by the newest international conventions & benchmarks meeting nature & laws of Saudi Arabia.

Maintaining software updates for the Riyadh MOU website.

 Developing & maintaining local software tools to track vessels called AL-JUBAIL & pulling statistical data to trace the area of developments.

  Offshore Medical Certificate and sea medical certificate.
